Closing the Gap: Human-Inspired Strategies for Robotic Painting

Overview: We propose three main objectives for the overarching task of using collaborative robots to emulate human painting demonstrations. These objectives entail utilizing a robot manipulator with sensing capabilities to 1) characterize a human painting demonstration, 2) reproduce the given demonstration and 3) evaluate the quality of both iterations.
